Please read this document which will provide you with important information about your reservation and rental, including what you will need to bring with you to collect the vehicle and what your responsibilities are.
You should carefully read the Rental Agreement provided at the time of collection.
Making a reservation
A reservation allows you to reserve a vehicle for "pick-up" at a specific time, date and location and for a specific rental period. You must meet our Requirements in order to rent. This reservation is NOT a rental contract. On collection of the vehicle you must accept and sign the Rental Agreement.
By making this booking, you agree to receive a copy of the Booking Conditions, electronically via the email address you have provided.
Prepaid" and "pay at the office" bookings
With "prepaid" (online) bookings, you pay for the rental period at the time of booking. The booking contract between you and Alquile un Coche en Canarias SLU (Turisprime Canarias) will be formalised when you accept the booking conditions and authorise us to charge your credit card for the "prepaid" amount. In the case of "pay at office" bookings, you request the vehicle now but pay for it at the established collection office. The "Pay at Office" prices may be less competitive than the "Prepaid" prices.
Changing your booking
You can change your booking (regardless of whether it is a "Prepaid" or "Pay at Office" booking) at any time before the day you are due to collect the vehicle by calling Reservations or by managing your booking online (if possible). You may be able to amend your booking on the day of collection, but you will need to check with Reservations.
We will send you a booking confirmation email confirming the details of the new booking and the new amount paid to the email address you have provided.
All change requests will be subject to availability and may result in a price change, as the booking modification will be made at the prices available on the date of the change.

There is no charge for the change itself.
Cancellations (all types of bookings)
You may cancel your booking at any time before the day you are due to collect the vehicle by calling Reservations.
Depending on when you cancel, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Reservation “Pay at Office”
At least 3 full days before collection
Charge of 65€
Less than three full days before collection
The lesser of (i) the total amount you have paid us or (ii) the amount equivalent to 3 days of your reservation
On the day of collection or if you do not cancel and do not show up either

The vehicle rental price is calculated based on the dates and times you have requested for the start and end of the rental, the amount of time for which you rent and the type of vehicle requested.
Unless otherwise stated, the price also includes all costs payable by you, e.g. vehicle taxes, local taxes and any additional office charges.
* The value of the excess depends on the type of vehicle hired and will be detailed in your rental contract. This excess is defined as the maximum amount that you will have to pay in the event that the vehicle has suffered major damage or breakdowns.
You must bring your booking number or booking confirmation email with you. This will help the office locate the details so you can get on the road as quickly as possible.

Please note that not all offices will accept a driving licence as a valid form of proof of identity or address. In this case, the person renting the vehicle must provide proof of physical identity, e.g. a valid passport or a valid and current identity card or document. The photo identification must be recognisable. Drivers must ensure that their personal postal address is stated on the Rental Agreement.
Methods of Payment
We generally accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards (in both cases excluding prepaid cards). For more information, please call Reservations.
Driver age restrictions
Drivers must be over 21 years of age and have held a driving licence for at least 1 year.
The rental office may refuse to rent to you or anyone in your party if you behave in an unacceptable manner, for example, if they believe the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or if you, or anyone in your party, display abusive or threatening behaviour towards their agents or other customers.
If there is no vehicle available from the group you have booked, the rental office will try to find a vehicle from a higher group at no extra cost. If only a vehicle from a lower group is found and you give your consent to rent that vehicle, you will only be charged for the value of that vehicle. If you have already paid, you will be entitled to a refund of the difference.
If there are no vehicles available, you will of course be entitled to a full refund of any amount you have paid in advance.
